This is a great product for getting a good sharpe angle on your tungsten. It makes it super easy to keep it spinning while it’s on your grinder to prevent flat spots.

This is a handy device to aid grinding your Tig tungsten on a stationary grinder. Anyone who does this knows the rod gets very not, very quickly so you have to hold it with gloves, which aren't the best to wear near a grinder or use pliers which are hard to use because the tungsten is so hard. Just a twist locks your rod into this mini vise and you can securely hold it while turning in the grinder. It is well made, great design and very good value for the money. Experienced Tig welders might think he didn't mention using a portable drill and they'd be right except if like me you used this technique in the past you'll know that it's only a matter of time before the red hot tungsten dust will ruin your drill. Give this device a try!
