9-8233 Nozzle Tip 120A — Thermal Dynamics SL60/SL100 Torch
The 9-8233 Nozzle Tip is a 120-amp heavy-duty replacement plasma cutting nozzle for Thermal Dynamics SL60 and SL100 torches on CutMaster 102 and 152 plasma power supplies. This is the largest standard nozzle orifice available for the SL60/SL100 platform, designed for maximum material thickness cutting at 120 amps. Precision copper alloy body with exact OEM-spec orifice geometry delivers clean, square cuts on thick mild steel plate, heavy stainless sections, and thick aluminum. For shops running high-amperage Thermal Dynamics plasma as their primary heavy cutting tool, this nozzle handles production cutting demands that would quickly erode smaller 50-70A nozzles.
KEY FEATURES
120-Amp Maximum Rating Largest orifice in the SL60/SL100 nozzle family; designed for maximum material thickness cutting at full 120A output on CutMaster 102 and 152 plasma power supplies. Thermal Dynamics 9-8233 Compatible Direct aftermarket replacement for OEM nozzle 9-8233; fits SL60 handheld and SL100 mechanized torches on CutMaster 52/82/102/152 systems at 120A cutting current. Copper Alloy Heavy-Duty Construction Reinforced copper alloy body engineered for the intense arc heat and gas flow rates of 120-amp plasma cutting; maintains orifice integrity far longer than brass-bodied alternatives. Large Orifice for Thick Plate Oversized orifice geometry supports the higher gas flow and arc current needed for cutting steel plate up to approximately 25mm (1") at 120A on CutMaster 102/152 systems. WeldingStop Aftermarket Value Professional-grade 120A nozzle at a fraction of genuine ESAB/Thermal Dynamics pricing; the single most cost-effective way to reduce consumable costs on high-amp plasma cutting. Reference 9-8233 Type Plasma Tip Nozzle Amperage 120A Compatible Torches Thermal Dynamics SL60, SL100 Compatible Systems CutMaster 52, 82, 102, 152 Application Heavy Plate Cutting (Up to ~25mm at 120A) Brand WeldingStop TYPICAL USES
- Heavy Structural Fabrication — 120A nozzle for cutting thick I-beams, channel sections, gusset plates, and structural components up to ~25mm on CutMaster 102/152 systems.
- Shipbuilding & Marine Repair — Thick-plate cutting capability for hull plate, deck sections, frames, and structural stiffeners using Thermal Dynamics high-amp plasma.
- Heavy Equipment Manufacturing — Production cutting of thick plate for mining, agricultural, and construction equipment components requiring 120A plasma output.
- Pressure Vessel & Tank Fabrication — Clean, square cuts on thick vessel shell sections, head plates, and nozzle cutouts where cut quality affects downstream welding.
- Scrap & Demolition Cutting — Maximum-orifice 120A nozzle for the most demanding cutting conditions; handles dirty, painted, and corroded thick steel where smaller nozzles would quickly fail.
